Loving care for your pets, if you must Love 'em & Leave 'em

A pet sitting service with a real DIFFERENCE! Critter Care Network is an association of independent pet sitters, who SUPPORT ONE-ANOTHER. This means that if anything happens to your primary pet-sitter, the others are there to provide continuity of service. You needn’t worry about your sitter getting sick, having car troubles or being on vacation when you need service. The others are there to fill in. This enables us to cover your needs, regardless of workload, weather, illness or other problems. You’ll have your primary sitter, with a large team of back-ups, ready to fill in when needed!
Each of us has specific skills, experience and offerings, and we have our independent geographic areas, which overlap. Just which sitter will be primary will depend on your needs (such as diabetic cat needing insulin, or live-in care) and your location.
We offer care tailored to YOUR pet’s needs. YOU tell us what you need. Occasionally, we will suggest alternative care if we feel that is appropriate, or if you are unaware that alternative care is available.
Each of our sitters is an ADULT who carries his/her own insurance and bonding. We have different backgrounds. For instance, I retired from MCI in 2000 as Senior Systems Engineer. I actually started sitting in 1990, part time, just because I love animals! It was a good choice. This is an excellent pastime for a retired person. I get as much out of it as your pets: fresh air, exercise, play, companionship!
A RECENT ADDITIONAL OFFERING: In 2010, I started offering DOG SOCIALIZATION (PLAYTIME WITH OTHER DOGS!) The way this works is I pick up dog playmates at the beginning of mid-day rounds, and they visit the other dogs, to enjoy running, wrestling, chasing or a game of tug-of-war. This is so much FUN for the dogs AND me that I don’t charge any extra for the play sessions. The photo below shows three of my “regular” visiting playmates. Cali (brown) is a boxer-mix, Zena (black) is a border collie, and Lucy (foreground) is a Tibetan terrier.
